ABOUT DAVID SAROSI

David was born in Sweden, to Hungarian parents. First, he attained a master’s degree in piano in Copenhagen, Denmark, then he went on to study conducting at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary.

Winner of the 2019 Lantos conducting competition, recipient of the Dan-Olof Stenlund scholarship, the Friends Circle of Liszt Academy scholarship, and reciepent of the highest scolarships in orchestral conductung from Royal Swedish Academy of Music two years in a row (2023, 2024).

Hired as an assistant conductor and repetiteur at Budapest Opera during his last year of conducting studies, where he had the opportunity of working with such singers as Placido Domingo.

Freelancing as both conductor and piano soloist since 2022, hired as Music Assistant at Royal Danish Theatre since 2024.
